Bagels + Shopping!

Was out with Winnie yesterday to Macquarie Center. Guess what we had for brunch?

Yea, Bagels!!!

We called it "salty doughnut" as it looks like a doughnut shape, yet is not a typical sweet kinda doughnut, it's a bread product, traditionally shaped by hand into the form of a ring from yeasted wheat dough, roughly hand-sized, which is first boiled for a short time in water and then baked.

The result is a dense, chewy, doughy interior with a browned and sometimes crisp exterior.

Bagels are often topped with seeds baked on the outer crust, with the traditional ones being poppy or sesame seeds and also with herbs. Some also may have salt sprinkled on their surface, and there are also a number of different dough types such as whole-grain or rye.

You can choose what you would like to have for the filling!

Yup, kinda similar to Subway (my all time favourite!)

We chosen 1 for salmon with herb crust,

and another for Bacon and Egg Mayo with sesame crust.

Both of them were THUMBS UP on forehead!!!

And this is my Iced MOCHA!!! Looks super thick right? Indeed!!

We went shopping after that, I got a jeans skirt for only $10 (I knew I'm a wise consumer, LOL), and a gift for my mum's birthday from Kikki. K (will blog bout it when I'm done with it - currently processing)

I still have tons of christmas gifts to shop for, I seriously need more $$$ as my pocket is going tighter and tighter day by day  >.<

X'mas is just around the corner!

Christmas is one of my all time favourite celebration.
