I'd started working as a casual worker in a bakery in Eastwood. My 1st and ever job related to food.
I need to pack breads, take breads out from those hot trays which burned me couple of times and I did CLEANING which I never need to do it in all my previos jobs!!! @@
Today is my 2nd time of work, I took a very early bus there because I was too afraid to missed the bus like it happened on my 1st day of work. Ok, I'm lame to be late on the 1st day and don't wanna mention bout it. >.< Anyway, thanks Winnie for the shortcut to the bus stand in my uni..haha..5 minutes walk instead of 15 minutes! =)
My 1st time working alone in the shop for the morning shift, many things needa remember. I was not very familiar with the placing of their things and so on. So I actually did my part but in the end, when the boss arrived, she sang bout pretty much things...bout rubbish bin, bout plastic bags, bout table cloth..la la la la la la....LOL
I wanted to tell her "HEY! How am I suppose to know this is your way to do this and that??????" Heh! Don't worry, I didn't say it, because I was thinking anyhow, is my bad, I shouldn't do that yea. It's her shop, she's the employer and I'm just only a casual employee, she have the right to rant when I don't do things her way right? Ok, so I just nodded my head after every sentence of hers and say yes! Luckily I didn't said YES MA'AM..lol...but if you ask me how was my work today? I'll say overall was still fine =) Well, many things to learn still and long way to go.
I read an e-mail bout "Law of a garbage truck" and I find it very meaningful.
The mail explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets.
The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day.
Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so ... Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't.
Life is ten percent what you make it, and ninety percent how you take it!
Have a blessed, garbage-free day!
I didn't took back garbage today, I brought back money instead!
