Happy Saint Patrick's Day everyone!!! :D
Especially those who heart GREEN like me..*wheeee*
Saint Patrick's Day is celebrated worldwide by the those of Irish descent and increasingly by non-Irish people (usually in New Zealand, Australia, and North America).
Celebrations are generally themed around all things Irish and, by association, the colour GREEN.
Both Christians and non-Christians celebrate the secular version of the holiday by wearing green, eating Irish food and/or green foods, imbibing Irish drink (such as Irish stout, Irish whiskey or Irish cream and attending parades.
There are some places which celebrated this occasion in Malaysia (March 13thKL - 1 Utama, PJ and March 14th Penang - Juru Auto City)...
Too bad that time I was in Alor Star (can't celebrate it here, coz ppl over here might even ask you watz St.Patricks Day??? =S) , if not I'll dig all the way into ma closet for all my favourite GREEN clothes to join de blast...T.T
Nevermind, I'll make sure myself celebrate this GREEN day in aussie next year!!! Muahahhaha~
Thou Green was the symbolic colour of this occasion today, but it was BLUE before the 20th century the saint was more often shown wearing blue garments.
But I'm glad it's GREEN now...hahahz~
Till here guys,
Cheers for da GREEN everyone!!!!
